1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when registering, including:
- Teachers: Name, email address, institution name, UPI/bank details for payouts.
- Students: Name, email address, phone number (for OTP), class enrollment data.
- Exam Data: Marks, question papers (PDFs), answer sheets uploaded to the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate AI-powered academic performance reports using Google Vertex AI.
- To process payments and manage wallet balances via Razorpay.
- To send OTP verification codes to student emails.
- To provide teachers with class and student analytics.
- To process teacher commission payouts for report unlocks.
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. OTPs are hashed with SHA-256. Payment information is never stored directly — only Razorpay order IDs are retained. All financial transactions are performed atomically to prevent data inconsistency.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google Vertex AI: Exam data is processed to generate AI reports. Data is not retained by Google beyond the API call.
- Razorpay: Payment processing. Subject to Razorpay's privacy policy.
- Supabase: Database and file storage. Hosted on secure cloud infrastructure.
5. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Answer sheets uploaded for report generation are automatically deleted within 48 hours. You may request deletion of your account by contacting admin@examreportai.in.
6. Your Rights
- Right to access your personal data.
- Right to correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to deletion of your account and associated data.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time.
